01 Who I am
This website (analyticsbychamok.online) is run by Chamok Mahonto, a freelance conversion tracking and Google Ads specialist based in Rangpur, Bangladesh. I am responsible for the personal data collected through this site. You can contact me at analyticsbychamok@gmail.com.
02 Information I collect
I collect two kinds of information:
- Information you give me: when you use the contact form I receive your name, email, and optionally your phone/WhatsApp number, website, the service you are interested in, your monthly ad budget range and your message. The form also records the page you sent it from and the referring page.
- Free checklist: when you download the Tracking Audit Checklist I receive your email and, optionally, your first name and website.
- Call bookings: when you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects your name, email, the time you choose and your answers to the booking questions, and shares them with me.
- Messages you send directly: if you contact me by email, WhatsApp, Upwork or Fiverr, I receive whatever you include in that message.
- Usage data from Google Analytics 4: pages you visit, how long you stay, the device and browser you use, your approximate location (country/city), how you found the site, and clicks on contact links such as WhatsApp, email or phone.
- Behaviour data from Microsoft Clarity: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, used to create heatmaps and session recordings so I can see where the site is confusing. Text you type into form fields is masked.
- Technical data from hosting: like every website, the hosting provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
03 What I do not collect
- I do not take payments on this website, so no card or bank details are collected here.
- The free tools (such as the hash generator, UTM builder and calculators) run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to me.
- I do not buy or sell personal data, and I do not run advertising tracking pixels on this website.
04 How I use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and send you the free audit or quote you asked for.
- To deliver and manage a project if you hire me.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the website.
- To keep the website secure and working.
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, I rely on your request (to answer a message you sent me), on carrying out a contract with you (for client projects), and on my legitimate interest in understanding and improving my website (for analytics). You can object to analytics at any time; see the Cookie Policy for how to block it.
06 How long I keep data
- Checklist downloads: your email is kept so I can send the checklist and an occasional follow-up, until you ask me to remove it.
- Contact form messages and emails: as long as needed to answer you and manage any project, and normally no longer than 3 years after our last contact, unless you ask me to delete them sooner.
- Google Analytics: for the data retention period set in my Analytics account (detailed user-level data is kept for a maximum of 14 months; aggregated reports may be kept longer).
- Microsoft Clarity: for the limited period Clarity keeps recordings and heatmap data.
07 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or limit how I use it, and to receive a copy of it. Email analyticsbychamok@gmail.com and I will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
08 Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form messages go straight to my private Google account, and access to client data is limited to me. No system is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
09 Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
10 Changes to this policy
If I change how I use data, I will update this page and the "last updated" date at the top.
