About Shukhi Life
Shukhi Life is a fast-growing Bangladeshi eCommerce brand selling organic food and herbal supplements such as Spirulina, Ginkgo Biloba, honey and other wellness products. Facebook Ads is its primary revenue stream.
Project overview
Shukhi Life had basic browser Pixel tracking but no Meta Conversion API and no GA4 Enhanced eCommerce setup. Critical funnel events such as AddToCart, ViewCart, BeginCheckout and Purchase were missing or inaccurate, leading to data loss, poor event delivery and incorrect revenue reporting.
Because of incomplete tracking and weak attribution, the brand could not measure true ROAS, optimize product performance or find revenue leaks. I implemented a complete Meta Pixel + CAPI + GA4 Enhanced eCommerce ecosystem for accurate event delivery and strong purchase attribution on every device, including iOS and privacy-first browsers.
Goals
- Implement complete Meta Pixel and CAPI purchase funnel tracking
- Deploy GA4 Enhanced eCommerce for full product analytics
- Track ViewItem → AddToCart → BeginCheckout → Purchase accurately
- Improve Meta Ads attribution and reduce event loss
- Build GA4 dashboards for deeper revenue insights
- Increase match quality and signal reliability
Challenges
- No existing GA4 eCommerce schema
- No server-side tracking (CAPI missing)
- Missing product ID, value and category parameters
- Low match quality causing poor attribution
- No visibility into checkout steps
- Weak remarketing due to incomplete event data
Strategy
I built a hybrid browser + server-side tracking structure so every product interaction is captured accurately. The Meta Pixel and Conversion API setup shares event IDs for deduplication and uses hashed user data for advanced matching, while a full GA4 enhanced ecommerce product mapping gives complete checkout funnel visibility and actionable dashboards.
What I implemented
Meta Pixel (browser-side)
- Configured PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, ViewCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase
- Mapped product ID, name, category, value and currency
- Added event_id for deduplication with CAPI
Meta Conversion API (server-side)
- Set up a GTM server container via Stape.io
- Sent Purchase, AddToCart and InitiateCheckout events server-side
- Added hashed email, phone, IP and user agent for advanced matching
- Improved match quality from ~3 to 9/10
GA4 Enhanced eCommerce
- Implemented the funnel view_item → add_to_cart → begin_checkout → purchase
- Integrated product variations, discounts and shipping values
- Added transaction ID for accurate revenue reporting
- Connected GA4 to Google Ads for enhanced conversions
Funnel dashboards
- Cart → Checkout → Purchase drop-off visualization
- Top product and category performance reports
- Returning user analysis and revenue breakdown
QA testing & validation
- GTM Web + Server preview debugging
- Cleared Meta Events Manager diagnostics
- Step-by-step verification in GA4 DebugView
- Validated with real test purchases
Tools used
Results
- InitiateCheckout sent with product ID, product name, BDT value and external_id advanced matching
- Browser Meta Pixel events mapped across the store’s product, cart and checkout steps
