How I work

Four Steps From Broken Data to Better Ads

Every project follows the same order: audit, fix tracking, launch and test, then optimise and report. The ads only get more budget once the data they learn from is right.

  2. 02 Fix tracking
  3. 03 Launch & test
  4. 04 Optimise & report
The process

What happens at each step

What I do, and what you have in your hands when each step is done.

  1. Step 1

    Audit

I check your GA4, GTM, Pixel, Conversions API and ad accounts against your real orders or leads, and show you where data is lost.

    What I do

    • Check GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, Conversions API and ad account conversion settings
    • Compare tracked conversions with real orders or leads
    • List every gap: missing, duplicated or wrong-value events

    What you get

A clear list of what is broken, what it costs you and what to fix first.

  2. Step 2

    Fix tracking

I set up or repair GA4, Google Tag Manager, server-side tracking and the Conversions API, so every conversion is counted once.

    What I do

    • Set up or repair GA4 and Google Tag Manager
    • Add server-side tracking (Stape) and the Meta Conversions API where it helps
    • Send value, currency and order ID once, with deduplication

    What you get

Tracking that counts every conversion once, on the platforms you use.

  3. Step 3

    Launch & test

Every event is tested in GTM Preview, GA4 DebugView and each ad platform, then campaigns launch on clean data.

    What I do

    • Test every event in GTM Preview, GA4 DebugView and each ad platform
    • Place real test orders or leads where possible
    • Launch or adjust campaigns only after the data is right

    What you get

A full tracking setup report in PDF, with every event and how it was tested.

  4. Step 4

    Optimise & report

Budget moves to what brings real customers, and you get a clear report of what changed and why.

    What I do

    • Move budget to the campaigns, keywords and audiences that bring real customers
    • Watch the data after launch so nothing breaks quietly
    • Report what changed and why, in plain words

    What you get

7 days of free support, then optional monthly care or hourly help.

Why this order

Data first, budget second

01

Ads learn from your data

Google Ads and Meta optimise toward the conversions they see. Wrong data trains them to find the wrong people.

02

Fixing first saves budget

Scaling spend on broken tracking only makes the loss bigger. Clean data first, then more budget.

03

Tested, not assumed

Every event is checked in the tools themselves, so you get proof it works instead of a promise.

FAQ

Questions about the process

Do I need all four steps?

No. If you only need tracking, the work stops after step 3 with the handover report. If you only need ads and your tracking is already correct, the audit confirms that and I move to the ads.

Do you need payment before the audit?

The first look at your tracking and ad account is free. Before paid work starts, you get a fixed quote and the scope in writing.

What access do you need?

Usually GA4, Google Tag Manager, your ad accounts and your website or store admin. The access guides show how to share each one safely.

What happens after the work is done?

You get 7 days of free support for anything I set up, and replies within 1–2 hours. After that you can choose monthly Tracking Care or hourly help.

Ready to start with a free audit?

Get a free audit of your tracking and ad account. Usually replies within 1–2 hours.
