How to Give Access to Your GoHighLevel Sub-Account

GoHighLevel (also called HighLevel) lets you add team members to your sub-account without sharing your login. You add me as a staff user, choose a role, and switch on only the parts I need. You can edit or delete my user at any time.

Before you start

  • Admin access to the GoHighLevel sub-account (location) I will work in
  • My email address: analyticsbychamok@gmail.com

Why I need this access

  • 01 Add your Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and other tracking code to your funnels and websites
  • 02 Set up Conversions API events from HighLevel (funnel events and lead events) so Meta sees your leads and sales
  • 03 Build or fix workflows that send conversion events, tag leads and move opportunities through your pipeline
  • 04 Connect and check integrations such as Facebook/Meta and other tools under Settings → Integrations

Which role to choose

Admin role (sub-account), or User with Funnels, Automation and Integrations switched on. Tracking work touches several areas at once: funnel and website settings for tracking code, workflows (under Automation) for Conversions API events, and Settings → Integrations for connections. The Admin role covers all of these in one step. If you prefer to keep things tighter, choose User and turn on at least Funnels, Automation (includes Workflows), Integrations, Contacts and Opportunities. Note that a user can never get more than your sub-account plan allows.

FAQ

GoHighLevel access: common questions

Admin or User, which should I pick?

Admin is simplest because tracking work spans funnels, workflows and integrations. If you want to limit access, User with Funnels, Automation, Integrations, Contacts and Opportunities is enough for most tracking jobs.

I don't see "My Staff" or "Add Employee".

You may be in the agency view or your user is not an Admin. Switch into the sub-account, or ask your HighLevel agency to add me.

Will you also need my Facebook access?

For connecting Meta inside HighLevel, the person connecting needs admin access to the Facebook Page and Business portfolio. For Pixel and Conversions API work, please also follow my Meta Business portfolio guide.
