How to Give Access to Your Microsoft Clarity Project
Microsoft Clarity is a free tool that shows session recordings and heatmaps of how visitors use your website. You can add me to your Clarity project by email in about a minute. You keep ownership and can remove me at any time.
analyticsbychamok@gmail.comBefore you start
- Admin role on the Clarity project (only Admins can add team members)
- My email address: analyticsbychamok@gmail.com
Why I need this access
- 01 Watch recordings of real visits to find where people get stuck before converting (forms, buttons, checkout)
- 02 Use heatmaps to see what visitors click and how far they scroll on your key pages
- 03 Check that the Clarity tag is installed correctly and, if useful, connect it with Google Analytics
- 04 Compare what visitors do with what your Pixel and analytics report, to spot tracking gaps
Which role to choose
Team member. A team member can view and work with the project's dashboards, recordings and heatmaps, which is everything I need for analysis. Admin is only needed if you want me to change project settings, such as masking, IP blocking or integrations; you can upgrade me later if that comes up.

I receive an email invitation and accept it. Your project then appears in my list of projects.

Microsoft Clarity access: common questions
I don't see the Team option.
Only project Admins can add people. Ask whoever created the Clarity project to add me, or to make you an Admin.
Is there a limit on team members?
Microsoft says there is no limit on team size, but only a limited number of invitations (10) can be pending at the same time.
Will adding me slow down my website?
No. Adding a team member only changes who can view the project. It does not touch your website or the tracking code.
