How to Give Access to Your TikTok Pixel and Ad Account
Your TikTok Pixel and ad account are managed in TikTok Business Center. You can invite me as a member with access to only the Pixel and ad account I work on, or share them with my Business Center as a partner. No password is needed and you can remove me whenever you like.
analyticsbychamok@gmail.comBefore you start
- Admin role in your TikTok Business Center (only Admins can invite members, add partners and share assets)
- Your Pixel and ad account inside that Business Center (a Pixel created in an ad account must be transferred into Business Center before it can be shared)
- A computer browser at business.tiktok.com
Why I need this access
- 01 Check your TikTok Pixel events (ViewContent, AddToCart, CompletePayment, lead events) using Test Events and Diagnostics in Events Manager
- 02 Set up the Events API so conversions are also sent from your server or CRM, which makes tracking more reliable
- 03 Fix duplicate or missing events and improve match quality so TikTok optimises your ads for real customers
- 04 Check that your campaigns use the right optimisation events and report results correctly
Which role to choose
Business Center: Standard member + Pixel: editing permission + Ad account: Operator. Standard keeps me limited to the assets you assign, instead of the whole Business Center. Pixel editing permission gives me Test Events, Diagnostics and the Pixel settings page in Events Manager, which is where tracking setup happens. TikTok says generating an Events API access token needs Admin or Operator on the ad account, so Operator is the lowest ad account role that lets me do the full setup. Analyst is enough only if you want me to review data and change nothing.
Step by step
analyticsbychamok@gmail.com (to invite me as a member). For the partner method you need my Business Center ID instead: I will send you my Business Center ID on WhatsApp.
- 1
Open Business Center
business.tiktok.com
Log in to TikTok Business Center and select the Business Center that owns your Pixel and ad account.
- 2
Invite me as a member

Assign the ad account
AssetsAd accountsAssign member
Under "Assets", open "Ad accounts", find your ad account, open it ("View" or the member/assign option), go to the "Members" tab and click "Assign new member". Choose me and select "Operator".
- 4
Assign the Pixel
AssetsPixelMembersAssign new member
Under "Assets", click "Pixel", select your Pixel, go to the "Members" tab and click "Assign new member". Choose me and set the Pixel permission that allows editing (pixel editing permission).
- 5
Confirm
I accept the invitation from my email. You will then see me listed under Members with the assets you assigned.
After you send the invite
- I will accept and confirm once I can see your Pixel in Events Manager and your ad account in Ads Manager.
- To remove me later: Business Center → Users → Members → find my name → remove me (or remove me from a single asset under Assets → the asset → Members). For the partner method: Partners → my business → remove or unshare.
- Removing a Pixel share does not stop campaigns already using that Pixel, so pause those first if needed.
TikTok Business Center access: common questions
I can't find my Pixel under Assets.
If the Pixel was created inside an ad account, it first has to be transferred to Business Center. Go to Assets → Pixel and use the transfer option, or tell me and I will guide you.
Why Operator and not Analyst?
Analyst is view-only. TikTok requires Admin or Operator on the ad account to generate the Events API access token, and Operator is the lower of the two.
I don't have a Business Center.
You can create one for free at business.tiktok.com and add your existing ad account to it. I can walk you through it.
Member or partner, which is better?
Both work. A member invite is quicker. The partner method shares with my business and is easy to remove in one place.
