How to Give Access to Google Ads
Google Ads is where your ads, budgets and conversion tracking live. You can give me access by inviting my email, or by approving a link request from my manager account. Either way you never share your password and can remove me at any time.
analyticsbychamok@gmail.comBefore you start
- Admin access to the Google Ads account (only Admins can invite users or accept manager links)
- Your 10-digit Customer ID (shown at the top of Google Ads next to the account name, like 123-456-7890) if you choose the manager-account method
- My email address: analyticsbychamok@gmail.com
Why I need this access
- 01 Set up and fix conversion actions (purchases, leads, calls) so Google Ads knows which clicks actually make you money.
- 02 Import key events from Google Analytics 4 and set up enhanced conversions for more accurate results.
- 03 Build, manage and optimise campaigns, keywords, ads and budgets, if campaign management is part of our work.
- 04 Check that your Merchant Center product feed and Shopping or Performance Max campaigns are working together.
Which role to choose
Standard. Standard lets me do all the hands-on work: campaigns, ads, keywords, budgets, conversion actions and reports. It cannot invite users or manage account access, so you keep control. Choose Admin only if you want me to also handle account links myself, for example linking GA4 or approving the Merchant Center link, since Google requires Admin for those. Otherwise you can approve those links when I ask; it takes a minute. Read only is too limited because I could not fix anything.

Send invitation
Click "Send invitation". I will accept it from my email; until then it shows as a pending invitation.
After you send the invite
- I will confirm by email once I can see the account, and I won't change live campaigns or budgets without agreeing it with you first.
- All my changes appear under my name in "Change history", so you can always see who did what.
- To remove access later: go to Admin, Access and security. On the "Users" tab, find my email and choose "Remove access"; for the manager-account method, go to the "Managers" tab and unlink my manager account.
Google Ads access: common questions
Standard or Admin: which should I choose?
Standard covers campaigns and conversion tracking. Admin is only needed to link other Google products (such as GA4 or Merchant Center) or manage users. Many clients give Standard and approve the links themselves when I ask, which takes a minute.
What is the manager-account (MCC) method?
Specialists and agencies use a Google Ads manager account to look after several clients from one login. You approve my link request once, and I can then work in your account from my manager account. You can unlink it whenever you like from the Managers tab.
Can you spend my money or change my billing?
Your ads spend only what your campaign budgets allow, and I will agree any budget change with you first. Payment methods stay under your control.
The + button or the Managers tab is missing. Why?
Only Admins can invite users or accept manager links. If you have Standard access, ask the account's Admin (often whoever created the account) to do it, or to make you an Admin first.
